The three most famous festivals in Japan and the most fun Gujo Odori dance where anyone can participate, sweat, and dance together.
The Gujo Odori dance is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The Bon Odori Festival is held from mid-July to early September and lasts for more than 30 nights. It is the longest-running Bon Odori in Japan and is usually held from 8:00 to 10:30 on weekdays and Sundays, and from 8:00 to 11:00 on Saturdays.
The climax of the festival is an all-night dance held on August 13, 14, 15, and 16.
