✨🏯Nagoya Castle🏯✨
Nagoya Castle, built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1615, boasted the largest floor area in history, adorned with a golden shachihoko on its roof, a lavishly decorated main keep, and fortified defenses, earning its designation as the first national treasure among castles.

Despite being ravaged by war, it was designated as a special historic site by the country, and the reconstructed main palace vividly portrays its former glory.

Representing Nagoya, the castle is renowned for its cherry blossoms, with approximately 900 cherry trees of around 10 varieties, including Somei Yoshino and Shidarezakura, within its grounds.
Take a stroll through the castle during the “Cherry Blossom Festival” and witness the enchanting night views during the customary illumination.
